The Journey starts here
In order to prepare for the arrival of our newest CBC Gentlemen, it is important that we are provided with any up-to-date information that may help us to further understand your son and his needs. We aim to make every boy's transition into high school as smooth and welcoming as possible so that he has the best start to his CBC Journey!

House Allocation
Allocations will be sent via email in Term 3 2025.
We understand that House placement is important to families. While siblings will be placed in the same House and Mentor group, we appreciate your understanding that House requests can only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Academic Testing – Friday 31 October 2025
To gain a better understanding of student's academic capabilities, the College will conduct a series of tests covering both Literacy and Numeracy on Friday 31 October with times to be confirmed.
Morning - Kelly, Morgan, O'Connor House
Afternoon - Patrick, Rice & Samson House
Orientation Day – Monday 8 December 2025
All new Year 7 students are invited to attend from 8:30am to 3:00pm at CBC Fremantle.
Parents are requested to stay for the first part of the day until 9:10am, when they will receive important information and meet key staff.
Year 7 Booklist
The booklist will be sent to families in November 2025.
Uniforms
CBC Fremantle's Uniform Shop is managed by Permapleat.
Fittings: Appointments can be booked in Term 4 via the Uniform Shop website.
Bookings open in September. More details will be shared closer to the time.

Laptop Collection - Monday 2 February 2026
Students can collect their laptops and smartrider cards on this date. Students will also be able to login into SEQTA and view their timetables.
If you are unable to attend, laptops and Smartrider cards will be issued on the first day of Year 7.
First Day of Year 7 - Tuesday 3 February 2026
More information will be sent out closer to the date.
Year 7 Camp - Thursday 5 February
As part of the transition program, all Year 7 students will attend an overnight camp at Swan Valley Adventure Camp. More information will be sent out closer to the date.
